It also has some of the most wildly varied character designers ever, as if they do not belong in the same show.

  1. Why would they make an anime based on a really bad Hollywood movie that critically and financially bombed in both American and Japan?

  2. From watching the first episode of this, the only one I will watch for obvious reasons, it’s decently faithful to the film. And by “faithful”, I mean “poorly conceived and amusingly awful”.

Though, it’s not horrid Ultraviolet itself, actually. You need a special brand of terrible to meet that.

  3. So, I’m here selling at the San Diego Comicon, and I met Ogiue, the American version. She was a fangirl who LOVED all BL, but positively hated anything with actual sex in it. She was extremely upset that we’d closen yaoi games to translate that had sex in them (which would, she said, make her want to stan her eyes out just to see it) but she was full on fujoshi to hear her tell it. So basically, I met Ogiue today, or a strange version of her.
