I was looking at my old photos from my time in Japan in 2005 when I came across this one. Looking back, it’s probably the best photo I took, and so I’ve included it here.
I’m normally a terrible photographer so the fact that this one came out well at all is mere coincidence.
WOW! Where is this exactly?

This was in Hon-Atsugi where I would go to take the train or buses.

I like to call this the 自転車海。
Thanks for making me miss Japan more, lol. Similar bike problems at Kyoto University, when all the students left their bikes on campus over break. And then you’d accidentally knock one over, and… domino effect… (•_• )”

Nice pic, though if we’re going to judge it for picture quality, I’d crop out the green thing at the bottom.

I’m continually impressed by the development of bicycling culture in Japan. I really miss my car, but my bike gets me where I need to be, along with everybody else. I also notably never need to be afraid of having my bike stolen– everybody else’s got one already!
