I saw Summer Days with Coo today at the NYIFF. Review pending.
The important thing is that prior to the movie starting, I said that at the end, Coo would declare that he “has no regrets in his life.” It was a good fun joke.
Then I got to the end of the movie, and lo and behold, Coo declares that he has no regrets.
Perhaps he’s not just skilled in Sumo, but also finding the opponents vital pressure points.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some Brothers to Smash. Much like Kenshiro.

You went to NYIFF?! You live near NYC and I don’t already know who you are? I mean, I know a lot of the high level fans in the tri-state area.
If you’re that girl who cosplayed as Black Jack one year at AnimeNext followed by a 20th Century Boys costume last year at Otakon, you’re the coolest otaku around!

I am, in fact, not a girl.
I don’t know if I’d call myself a high level fan, and I don’t attend too many cons, but I figure there’s a chance we’ll run into each other some day.
