I hope everyone had a good Halloween, even if you’re not from a place that really celebrates it. I watched the Ojamajo Doremi episode of Star Detective Precure, and it makes me want to see a US blu-ray release for Doremi more than ever.
I also did some traveling in October, though it wasn’t for anything weeb-related—I was not one of the many people screwed over by the Uma Musume visa issues. My heart goes out to all the fans affected, though. That said, I might have a couple of posts here and there related to my trips.
And seeing news of both Chiba Tetsuya and Patrick Stewart passing away in the same week really (on top of all the other deaths) makes me feel that we’re really seeing a generation of great artists fading. I’m grateful we still have their works to enjoy and cherish.

This coming Tuesday is Election Day in the US. If you’re tired of the current situation—whether it’s because of tariffs and fees, the increasingly unlivable conditions that keep creeping up on us, or the the bald-faced cruelty and contempt for people and the world—I hope you make your voice heard.
