August was very busy! I attended Otakon at the start of the month, then had a whirlwind of an Anime NYC a few weekends later, where I probably attended more music events than I probably should have.
I’m still trying to play catch-up on all my posts, while also trying to make any timely posts (especially those with limited time frames for watching, like VTuber concerts.
And then all these big celebrities with influence in nerd circles and beyond keep passing away! I plan to write a little something, but it’s kind of overwhelming and a stark reminder that time is ticking away. Fun.

Closing
This month was unusually mecha-tacular. All the more appropriate that I’m finally making time to play through Super Robot Wars Y.
And of course, I have to say it: Till all are one.
I was also at Anime NYC! Didn’t get to met any of the celebrities I wanted to see because I don’t yet know the way of the world and I didn’t realize the “free” autographs were only “free” with the purchase of $85 posters and they were all sold out by the time I made it to the right booth which was not in the guest area.
I still had a good time hanging out with friends and that’s what really matters, but I’m curious how you arrange things like small interviews etc when I can’t even get a handshake. I hope you also had a good time.
